Paradise Valley Springs

Pat a Lion Cub

A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE FOR ALL AGES

We currently have Lion Cubs available for visitors to meet and pat at Paradise Valley Springs.
They are absolutely gorgeous and are available for all ages to pat.  This is the only place in New Zealand where you can touch a young Lion!

Our Lion Cubs are called Bella and Benji and were born at our park in August 2011.

ALSO, we have two brand new baby girls who are six weeks old, and will be making appearances throughout the April 2012 school holidays from Easter weekend onwards!  Because their mum is really protective, they will not be out for too long at a time, and we will be alternating between the larger and the small Lion Cubs for visitor patting.  If you are dying to pat one of our new baby Lion Cubs, you are welcome to contact us on the day of your visit when we should know more about patting times for the small ones.

We have staff members in with our Cubs during patting times, and they are happy to answer any questions you may have about our Lions.  You are also welcome to bring a camera and take your own photos.

There is no need to make a booking to pat our Lion Cubs and there is no additional charge at all!  Find out our park entry fees here.

Daily patting times

10.40am to 12.00pm

1.00pm to 2.20pm

3.00pm to 4.30pm

You can also see our Lion Cubs Bella and Benji in the Jason's Rotorua What's On guide for Autumn.  Click here to see a copy.
